Is CargoNOW 2021 still on?

CargoNOW 2021 is scheduled to take place as planned and will be held from 19-20 May 2021 as a hybrid virtual and physical event at a venue to be confirmed in Singapore and via Airmeet online.

We are aware of the fluid nature of COVID-19, and will continue to monitor the situation closely. We are also cognizant of the event participant mix comprising individuals from all across the world and we have everyone’s health and safety as top priority.

The organising team is in discussions with local stakeholders and partners to explore different scenarios and alternative plans for the show. Given The COVID-19 Situation Globally, The Large-Scale Nature of The Event and International Profile of Attendees, Is It Safe To Visit CargoNOW 2021?

In view of the rapidly evolving nature of COVID-19, CargoNOW 2021 is working closely with our venue partner and the local authorities to continue implementing strict entry and work infection control measures and precautions guided by advisories from the Singapore Government, and will adjust them accordingly.

To date, all staff and partners have been advised to exercise vigilance, adopt good personal hygiene practices, monitor their health closely, and to be socially responsible. Health and large-scale event advisory signage and digital billboards will be placed at the venue to advise all visitors to the venue. The venue has strengthened its sanitary measures which includes the doubling of its cleaning frequency as well as ensuring that basic amenities such as hand soap do not run out. Hand sanitisers can also be found at various locations of the venue.

Cases of those who are feeling unwell will be assessed and if deemed necessary, will be referred to the hospital for further medical assessment. There are isolation rooms in place and trained medics will be on-site during event days.
